Highways Accident Reporting Tool (HART)

National Highways revised GG128 guidance comes into force on 1st April 2023. This guidance advises all suppliers what and when to report incidents on to HART. There are some significant changes including:
If you need help with access to HART please contact [email protected] and please make use of HART resources below which guide you through different tasks such as inputting an incident through to recording actions for Safety Alerts.
- All injury incidents must be reported onto the system
- All customer in crisis interventions must be reported
- There are changes in the time scales for the production of an investigation report, this has now increased to 20 days
