Health, Safety & Wellbeing Culture Survey 2021

Welcome to the Highways England Health, Safety and Wellbeing Culture survey

Our vision is simple, we want everyone who works with us and everyone who travels on our network to get home safe and well.  As part of Home Safe and Well we want to improve the maturity of our health and safety culture, as measured by the Hearts and Minds culture ladder.  To do this we need to assess our current safety culture, so we can understand where we need to focus and where we need to make improvements.  The step change from level 3 ‘Calculative’, which we achieved in 2018, to level 4 ‘Proactive’ is much harder and we are all responsible for making this change happen.

The survey will take around 30 minutes to complete and is open till 1 April, there is a ‘save and continue later’ option if needed so you can re-visit if you don’t complete in one go. The descriptions are generic and may not fit perfectly to your experience but please think laterally when completing and chose one that best describes the situation in your work experience of Highways England.

Your views on Highways England are important to us and the results from the supply chain will be used to triangulate against our own and shape future Home Safe and Well programme activities.

If you have any questions about the survey please get in contact at homesafeandwell@highwaysengland.co.uk
