Galliford Try Highways PPE Requirements

Minimum Standards

Galliford Try Highways recognises that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is always the last resort in our ambition to ‘create’ a Knowingly Safe and Well Environment.
However were PPE is required we expect that the PPE is of a high quality and standard. All PPE should be in good condition, suitable for the environmental conditions, should fit well without interfering with other items of PPE and should be stored in a suitable location when not in use. All documentation that is supplied with the PPE should be retained by the user for reference. All PPE provided for use should be sourced through a reputable supplier and will be “CE” marked which indicates that equipment has been approved and complies with European Standards defined by this Information Note.
This Information Note sets out the minimum standard of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to be provided and worn when working on behalf of Galliford Try Highways and is to be read in conjunction with the Galliford Try Group PPE Standard - HS&S-STD-P02.
